Sticker Fight

SFW. Romance. Fluff. Dating already. Loki wonders why Luka has a bunch of stickers and then fights him about it.

Shuteye was needed after a day of heavy glaring into a monitor and notebook back to back. Keys rattled into the quiet apartment with an echo, until that signature clunk let Luka know his door was unlocked. The room brightens as the sun allows its godrays within his dim room, and there he is. The boy who somehow keeps finding a way into his apartment despite the doors being locked up.
"Oh, hey."
"...Kid. How did you-?" His overall confusion subsides with a light face palm, "What are you doing this time..?"

The little trespasser sits on his desk chair with a package of what looks like glitter dispersed across the floor and furniture, covering his arms with a few of them on top of that.
"I did you a favor, mate. There was some punter at your door taking your mail. He tore part of it open but I got to him before he could make off with it.
"Oh, really now. Thanks. But I'm guessing you and that porch pirate are the same guy."

"If not for me you wouldn't have these things in the first place. I told you already that I didn't open this myself. I was going to use my powers to revert this all back to normal, but..." Luka shifts his head over with a glance. "What the hell did you need these for?"

As he can see, the tiny god is having fun with these little stickers. Wait, stickers?

"Ah, right. I forgot I ordered those. They were supposed to come in earlier last month but figured they got lost. Pretty late for these things now..." Luka leans against the door, sighing while watching the little one fool around with decorations.

"I thought you were too old to play with something like this, Mr. 'I'm not a child'?"
"Oh, please, mate. I'm just looking at them. What were you doing buying these, anyway?"

The man glances away for a moment, "It was a gift for the family next door, they had a little girl who's birthday was a few months back, but they moved out before I could give them to her."
Loki watches him for a moment with unbelieving eyes.

"What are you doing in my apartment in the first place??"
"I've already told you! Now, stop worrying about me and get yourself comfy, mate."
Loki's voice trails off as he pulls apart two stickers that got stuck on each other. "Hello Kitty? Confetti? Candy? These are cute stickers for such a big bloke."
"As I've said, not for me--"

Loki jumps up and quickly places a sticker on Luka's nose.
"There's about 30 pages of this stuff, mate. How much did this set you back? Sanrio stickers can't be that expensive, I suppose."

"D-did you just? Alright. You somehow get into my apartment, and now you've attacked me with a sticker." Luka chuckles his head back with disbelief before looking back at Loki, already holding another sticker in an offensive position. "You've asked for it, kid."

The man doesn't make much room for Loki to go as he lunges towards him, but fast on his feet, Loki dips under his arm and pops a sticker on Luka's back. He doesn't get far until Luka immediately grabs Loki by the waist with a "c'mere you brat" and places a sticker on his face. Flailing, the little magician disappears to only just a few feet ahead of the man armed with 2 pages of stickers. He sneers, in a position that reads, 'I'm gonna dodge whatever you've got coming'.

The two chase each other around for a while, Loki using his athleticism and powers to avoid and attack whenever Luka even thinks about getting too close to him. A sparkly Hello Kitty sticker is placed on Luka's chest, Loki feels a tap on his shoulder and there's a laughing emoji sticker. Somehow a strawberry sticker ends up in the man's brown hair. Loki doesn't feel the ice cream seal pop on his leg. It goes on back and forth at the expense of his apartment. The boy pants and stumbles against fallen pillows upon the floor until he's pulled back by a strong grip around his arm. He's pushed onto the bed and above him Luka lands the final blow with a cupcake sticker placed on where is emblem would be.

They pant in silence admiring each other.

Finally, Luka smirks. "Guess I win."

Loki scoffs, shaking his head. He leans in with closed eyes, lips licked and puckered. Luka dives into the kiss with closed matching eyes.

As they pull away, Luka notices a pressing sensation on his lips.

"Huh? You little cheat."

A heart sticker flaps on the journalist's bottom lip. The two laugh before laying on top of each other and cuddling. Soon thereafter, the sticker covered workaholic sleeps on the bed, snuggling in with his cute little winner.
